The Leon Band is very proud of the 8 students who were selected to participate in the 2008-2009 All-State Bands and Orchestras!  Keep up the great work!

The Leon Band is selling Chick-fil-a Calendars.  They are $8 a piece and $5 will be credited to the student account.  The calendar contains over $30 in coupons for the year!!!  Please see your nearest band member if interested in purchasing a calendar!

The Leon Band is selling Olan Mills Photography Tickets!  The tickets are $10 it is 100% profit for the band...$7 for the student account and $3 for the band account.  Please see below for the order form and detailed instructions.

Starting on Monday, October 27th, we will be having optional sessions from 3:30 - 4:30pm in the Band Room.  Please use this time come in and get individual help on your instrument regarding fundamentals, scales, etudes and music.  Here is the schedule:

• October 27th - Flutes/Oboes
• October 29th - Clarinets/Bassoons
• November 3rd - Saxophones
• November 5th - Trumpets/Horns
• November 10th - Trombones/Baritones
• November 12th - Tubas
• Percussion: TBA

• Dismissed from class @ 2:15pm
• On Bus 2:45pm (Dressed in Polo's and Jeans)
• Depart 2:55pm
• Kick off 7:30pm
• Approximate Pick-up Time 1:00am
